Drăgășani is a city in Vâlcea County. It administers Drăgășani, Valea Caselor, Zărneni and Zlătărei.
The unofficial number of Roma citizens is about 2400.

The ROMACT Process

 ROMACT started in July 2018 with the signature of the Letter of Agreement.
In September, the Taskforce for Roma Inclusion was created and the Joint Action Plan was adopted by the Local Council in October 2018. 

Several training were provided:

The Local Authorities were trained/coached in:
* Project management ( vocational training)
* EEA and Norwegian Grants 2014-2021
* Accessing EU funds
* Public procurement
* Partnership management 

The following measures to solve problems in Roma community were taken: 
*Connection of 10 Roma households to electricity 
* Asphalting of two streets in the Sfantul Gheorghe neighborhood
